竹細工、おやき、抹茶の3つのプログラムを通し、特別な旅の思い出を作ってみませんか。

This museum offers three workshops where you can experience traditional Japanese culture. Spend a special time here amidst the local scenery of Nagano.

🎋Bamboo Craft Workshop
Learn how to make your own small bamboo basket under the special guidance of a master artisan of Sugakawa Bamboo Craft, a traditional craft from Nagano Prefecture.
No experience is required.
After working with bamboo, take a relaxing break with Oyaki, a traditional local food of Nagano, and enjoy the atmosphere of the museum.

🥮Oyaki Making Workshop
Let’s make Oyaki, a traditional local food of Nagano.
Oyaki is a seasonal dish filled with ingredients from nature and has long been enjoyed as a way to share food and strengthen bonds among family and community.
This is a small-group workshop, so beginners are very welcome and can participate with confidence.

🍵 Matcha Experience 
Prepare your own cup of Uji Matcha from Kyoto and finish a Matcha Affogato by yourself. 
The rich bitterness and umami of matcha pair perfectly with creamy vanilla ice cream.
